Sheila is the Associate Director of the Public Projects at the Center for History and New Media, George Mason University. I recently completed my Ph.D. in history at Mason. At CHNM, I have managed many projects, including the Hurricane Digital Memory Bank and Gulag: Many Days, Many Lives. I recently co-authored, Mobile for Museums, a dynamic white paper that combines research and development recommendations for museums interested in using mobile devices to engage visitors. She is currently is the end user coordinator for Omeka.

Prior to coming to CHNM in 2005, I worked as the Director of Education and Public Programs at the U.S. Navy Museum in Washington, DC for seven years.
