I head up mobile strategy & initiatives at the Smithsonian Institution, and also manage MuseumMobile.info, its wiki and podcast series. In what's left of my spare time, I am Digital Editor of Curator: The Museum Journal. In 2010, I'm leading program development for the Museums Computer Network (MCN) and Tate Handheld conferences. Before joining the Smithsonian, I was head of new product development for Antenna Audio for about 8 years. I have a PhD in American art history and a background in filmmaking, curation and art criticism. From 2008-2010 I was Head of New Media at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. As you might suspect, I like to talk about mobile, but also the importance of audience research & evaluation, and innovative ways to use social media for social good.
