Lisa Sasaki
Director of Program Development at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, CA
Lisa is responsible for overseeing the institution’s program and audience development, including permanent and temporary exhibitions, the Museum’s collections, and on-site education programs. She also currently serves as the Project Director for the Museum’s James Irvine Foundation’s Artistic Innovation Fund Project, which looks at how a culturally specific museum can respond to changing American demographics.
Lisa holds Bachelor Degrees in History and Archaeology from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Denver and has worked in the curatorial and museum education fields for the last thirteen years.
